Syracuse Crunch Sign Goaltender Kevin Mandolese to PTO

December 4, 2025 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch have signed goaltender Kevin Mandolese to a professional tryout agreement, General Manager and Head Coach Joel Bouchard announced today. Mandolese, 25, has played in one game with the Charlotte Checkers this season. He earned a win stopping 28-of-30 shots against the Crunch on Nov. 8. December 4, 2025 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled goaltender Brandon Halverson from the Syracuse Crunch, Vice President and General Manager Julien BriseBois announced today. Halverson, 29, has played in 13 games with Syracuse this season, logging a 9-4-0 record with a .901 save percentage, 2.58 goals-against average and two shutouts. Groshev, 23, has played in 19 games with Syracuse this season, recording seven assists and eight penalty minutes with a plus-8 rating. December 2, 2025 - CRUNCH FAIR WELL AGAINST RIVALS The Syracuse Crunch posted a 2-1-0-0 record in Week 8 to hit December with wins in three of their last four games. The Crunch earned both of their wins versus the Utica Comets. They won, 5-3, in Utica on Wednesday and then picked up a home win by the identical score on Saturday.
