Syracuse Crunch Downed by Cleveland Monsters, 2-1, in Triple Overtime
May 3, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch were downed by the Cleveland Monsters, 2-1, in triple overtime today at the Upstate Medical University Arena.
The game is the longest in Crunch history finishing at 107:53. The loss eliminates Syracuse from the Calder Cup Playoffs falling to the Cleveland Monsters, 3-1, in the best-of-five North Division Semifinals series.

For every Crunch goal scored at home during the season, Empower FCU pledged to donate $25 to Clear Path For Veterans - a nonprofit that empowers veterans, service members, and families in Central New York and beyond. This season, the Crunch scored 129 goals and Empower FCU will be making a $3,225 donation.

The Syracuse Crunch split the first two games of their North Division Semifinals series against the Cleveland Monsters. The remainder of the series will be contested in Syracuse, beginning with Game 3 on Friday and Game 4 on Sunday.
