January 8, 2026 - PRINCE GEORGE, BC - Prince George Cougars General Manager and Head Coach Mark Lamb announced tonight that the club has acquired defenceman Tyrone Sobry (06) from the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a 2026 ninth-round pick and a 2029 fourth-round pick in the WHL Prospects Draft. January 8, 2026 - PRINCE GEORGE, BC - Prince George Cougars General Manager and Head Coach Mark Lamb has announced the team has acquired forward Koy Funk ('08) from the Calgary Hitmen in exchange for a 2028 third-round pick. Funk, 17, has appeared in 21 games with the Hitmen this season, recording six points (2-4-6). Cougars Acquire 2022 WHL Champion Dawson Seitz from Wenatchee Wild

January 8, 2026 - PRINCE GEORGE, BC - Prince George Cougars General Manager and Head Coach Mark Lamb announced another addition to the roster today, as the club has acquired forward and 2022 WHL Champion Dawson Seitz ('05) from the Wenatchee Wild in exchange for an eighth-round selection in the 2029 WHL Prospects Draft. January 8, 2026 - PRINCE GEORGE, BC - Prince George Cougars General Manager and Head Coach Mark Lamb announced today that the club has traded defenceman Eli Johnson ('08) to the Penticton Vees in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round selection in the WHL Prospects Draft. Johnson, 17, appeared in 24 games with the Cougars this season, recording six assists, two penalty minutes, and a minus-two rating.
