The 18-year-old Swede checks in at 6'0" and 169 pounds and was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the fifth round (147th overall) in last weekend's NHL Draft in Buffalo. June 27, 2016 - Prince George, B.C. - Earlier today the Western Hockey League officially released the 2016-17 regular season schedule and the Prince George Cougars will kick off their 23rd season in the Western Hockey League with a four game road trip starting on Friday, September 23rd in Victoria against the Royals. June 25, 2016 - Prince George, B.C. - The Prince George Cougars are pleased to announce that 1998-born defenceman Josh Anderson (Duncan, BC) has been selected by the Colorado Avalanche in the third round (71st overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft. Checking in at 6'3" and 210 pounds, Anderson was originally selected third overall by the Cougars in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.
