All three losses came on home ice, matching the team's longest winless stretch of the season at Upstate Medical University Arena. Syracuse Crunch Sign Forward Max Grondin to PTO

March 17, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch have signed forward Max Grondin to a professional tryout contract, General Manager & Head Coach Joel Bouchard announced today. Grondin, 25, has played in three games with the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL this season tallying one goal and two assists. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound forward has also skated in 28 games with the University of Ottawa leading the team in total points (30) and tied for the lead in goals (12). His 18 assists ranked second. Syracuse Crunch Edged by Laval Rocket, 4-3, in Shootout

March 14, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch were edged by the Laval Rocket, 4-3, in a shootout tonight at the Upstate Medical University Arena. Spencer Kersten scored his first goal of the season to force overtime and secure one point for the Crunch. The team now sits at 35-19-3-2 on the season. March 14, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch will continue to honor the significant role the Erie Canal had in shaping the city of Syracuse by taking on the Syracuse Canal Mules identity for one night on Saturday, March 28 when the team hosts the Rochester Americans. Canal Mules Night pays homage to the first-known beer league hockey team that skated on the Erie Canal in the early 1920s.
