January 25, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch fell to the Utica Comets, 5-1, today at the Adirondack Bank Center. The Crunch move to 23-15-2-1 on the season and 7-3-0-0 in the 12-game seasons series with the Comets. Crunch goaltender Ryan Fanti turned aside 5-of-9 shots before being relieved by Brandon Halverson two minutes into the second period. Halverson went on to stop 17-of-18. Tampa Bay Lightning Recall Defenseman Max Groshev from Syracuse Crunch

January 25, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled defenseman Max Groshev from the Syracuse Crunch today, Vice President and General Manager Julien BriseBois announced. Groshev, 24, has played in one game with the Lightning this season, making his NHL debut on December 28 versus the Montreal Canadiens. During that game, he recorded his first career assist and point, while logging 13:03 of ice time. Syracuse Crunch Roll Past Utica Comets, 6-3

January 24, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch rolled past the Utica Comets, 6-3, tonight at the Upstate Medical University Arena. Mitchell Chaffee and Matteo Pietroniro each potted one goal and two assists, while Conor Geekie added three helpers. Brendon Furry also contributed a pair of empty-net goals as the Crunch advance to 23-14-2-1 on the season and 7-2-0-0 in the 12-game season series against the Comets. Tampa Bay Lightning Recall Forward Jakob Pelletier from Syracuse Crunch

January 24, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled forward Jakob Pelletier from the Syracuse Crunch, Vice President and General Manager Julien BriseBois announced today. Pelletier, 24, made his Lightning debut this season on November 15 and logged 6:12 of ice time. He has appeared in 35 games with Syracuse, recording 19 goals and 41 points.
