Rush Announce Coaching Change

May 27, 2025 - (RAPID CITY, S.D.) - The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames, announced Tuesday that the club has elected not to renew Head Coach & General Manager Scott Burt's contract. Burt spent four seasons as the Rush's Head Coach, adding on the General Manager tag following his first year. Burt compiled a record of 130-129-29. Rush Announce 2025-26 Season Schedule

May 15, 2025 - (RAPID CITY, S.D.) - The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames, announced its 2025-26 season schedule on Thursday. The Rush will play 36 home and 36 road games, totaling 72, the first of which is Friday, October 17th at the Kansas City Mavericks. Connor Murphy Recalled by Wranglers

April 15, 2025 - (RAPID CITY, S.D.) - The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames, announced on Tuesday, via a Heartland Health & Wellness Roster Adjustment, goaltender Connor Murphy has been recalled by the Calgary Wranglers. Murphy, 26, finished his second ECHL season with a 12-8-4 record in 25 games played with the Rush.
