April 4, 2026 - The Knoxville Ice Bears wrapped up their regular season with a 3-1 loss to the Birmingham Bulls at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum Saturday night. The Ice Bears await their first round opponent pending the results of other games around the rest of the SPHL.
Logan Dapprich scored from the left circle at 6:49 of the first period to open the scoring detail for Birmingham. Dapprich took a pass from Kyren Gronick in the neutral zone, skated to the circle and beat Stephen Mundinger for his first career goal.

April 4, 2026 - The Knoxville Ice Bears will face the Huntsville Havoc in the opening round of the President's Cup Playoffs this week. Game one of the best-of-three series will be Friday night in Knoxville at the Civic Coliseum at 7:30 p.m. Game two will be Saturday night in Huntsville and the Havoc will host game three Monday night, if necessary.
The schedule for the series is as follows (all times Eastern):
Game 1: Huntsville at Knoxville. Friday, April 10. 7:30 PM.

April 3, 2026 - Knoxville played a strong first two periods to build a lead and picked up a point to clinch a playoff berth despite a 3-2 overtime loss to the Birmingham Bulls Friday night at the Civic Coliseum. Knoxville solidified a playoff spot following Quad City's loss to Huntsville.
Kolten Olynek scored the game-winning goal with a wrist shot from the right hash that beat Stephen Mundinger's glove side for a power play goal at 4:13 of the overtime period.

Forward and team captain Jimmy Soper and goaltender Stephen Mundinger have both been activated off the injured reserve ahead of Friday night's home game against Birmingham.
In addition, defenseman Billy Roche and goalie Connor Green have been placed on the IR.
