
Warriors Waive Daniel Orton

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors have waived center Daniel Orton the team announced today.
Daniel Orton, a 6'10" 265-lb center from the University of Kentucky, appeared in 20 games for Santa Cruz averaging 13.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.65 blocks in 23.7 minutes per game. Santa Cruz acquired Orton's returning player rights from the Idaho Stampede in exchange for the rights of center Justin Manns, the Warriors' 37th overall pick in the 2015 NBA D-League Draft in October 2015.
Santa Cruz will play the Idaho Stampede at home on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a Championship Canvas courtesy of Hotel Paradox.
