Erie, Pennsylvania, Friday, January 9, 2015 - The Erie BayHawks today announced guard Leslie McDonald (6-5, 215, North Carolina) has been acquired and activated. McDonald went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft and later signed with Hapoel Kfar Saba of Israel. He appeared in five games before returning to the states.
Mike Schachtner has been released after playing 14 games, scoring 6.6 points per game for the BayHawks. He was deactivated for the past four games. Guard Luke Loucks has been deactivated in place for McDonald.
The BayHawks host two straight home games starting with tonight's 7:00 PM matchup vs. the Canton Charge. Erie then plays the Grand Rapids Drive Saturday night at 7:00 PM.
