Tonight, the SeaWolves look to snap a four-game losing streak as they begin a four-game series against the Portland Sea Dogs (Boston Red Sox) with a doubleheader at Hadlock Field. On Sunday, the ‘Wolves comeback attempt fell short as they were swept by the New Hampshire Fisher Cats with a 3-2 loss. Erie has now lost 10 of its last 11 games since reaching its high water mark of 13 games over .500 on May 27...RHP Warwick Saupold takes the mound for Erie in game one making his 13th start and second against the Sea Dogs. Saupold took a loss in his last start against Portland on June 5. In the game, he allowed a season-high six runs on six hits with two walks and two strikeouts in six innings of work. Erie was shut out in the game 6-0...LHP Drake Britton was on the winning end of the 6-0 game on June 5 tossing a gem. He shut out the ‘Wolves for eight innings allowing just one hit with a walk and eight strikeouts. Britton is making his 13th appearance and 12th start...LHP Ryan Robowski takes the mound for Erie in game two making his ninth appearance and fourth start. Robowski has not allowed a run over his last six outings (8.2 IP). He tossed a scoreless inning on June 7 in his last appearance against New Hampshire...RHP Jeremy Kehrt takes the mound for Portland making his eighth appearance and first start. Kehrt has not allowed a run over his last three appearances. He tossed two scoreless innings on June 8 at Akron.

- The season series between Erie and Portland is tied 1-1. The SeaWolves and Sea Dogs meet six times in 2013.

- The SeaWolves are 22-18 in night games

- The SeaWolves are 14-10 when not committing an error and 17-19 in games where they commit at least one error.
