Curve and Rock Cats Postponed Tuesday

NEW BRITAIN, Conn.- The Altoona Curve and New Britain Rock Cats had the first of their three-game set postponed on Tuesday night due to rain. A double-header is scheduled for tomorrow night with first pitch slated for 5:35 p.m. Both games on Wednesday will be seven inning contests with a 30-minute break between games.

Altoona will send RHP Stolmy Pimentel (3-3, 3.84) to the mound in game one. He will be opposed by the Rock Cats LHP Pat Dean (3-6, 4.81). RHP David Bromberg (2-6, 3.91) will head to the mound for the Curve in game two on Wednesday night. The start will be the first for Bromberg as a visitor at New Britain Stadium. He spent the parts of the past three seasons as a member of the Rock Cats. RHP Trevor May (5-2, 3.92) takes the hill for the Rock Cats. May started twice against the Curve last year, working five innings in each outing as a member of the then Reading Phillies.
