----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look to snap a two-game slide and get back to 10 games above .500 as they take on the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) in the middle game of a three-game series at Canal Park. Last night, the Aeros limited the SeaWolves to three hits, two off the bat of James McCann, taking down the 'Wolves 4-1 in the series opener. The one run scored equaled the lowest run total by the 'Wolves this season...Kyle Lobstein takes the mound tonight for Erie making his ninth start of the season and second against the Aeros. Lobstein beat Akron on May 7 at Canal Park tossing Erie's first complete game of the season. He allowed three runs on seven hits with three walks and seven strikeouts in a 4-3 win. Lobstein won his fourth straight game in his last start at Bowie on May 12. In the game, he allowed three runs on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts in five innings of work. Erie won the game 10-6...RHP Blake Wood takes the mound for the Aeros making his second rehab start. He is scheduled to toss one inning. In his first appearance against Bowie on May 4, Wood allowed a run on one hit with two walks and no strikeouts in 0.2 innings of work. Wood last pitched in the big leagues in 2011 with Kansas City. He made 55 relief appearances with the Royals posting a 5-3 record and 3.75 ERA. Wood was a minor league teammate of SeaWolves reliever Blaine Hardy while with the Kansas City organization...Lefty Matt Packer will piggyback Wood making his ninth appearance and second against Erie. He beat the 'Wolves on May 8 allowing two unearned runs on five hits in seven innings of work.
