
Gwinnett Braves Homestand Highlights: May 18-26

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves return to Coolray Field for an eight-game homestand from Saturday, May 18 through Sunday, May 26. The G-Braves will host the Louisville Bats, Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, for four games from May 18-21 and the Toledo Mud Hens, the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, for four games from May 23-26. Numerous giveaways, theme nights and promotions highlight the upcoming homestand.
The four-game series against Louisville kicks off on Saturday at 7:05 PM, as the first 2,000 fans in attendance receive a Freddie Freeman Bobblehead sponsored by Coolray Heating and Cooling. That night, the G-Braves will also help raise funds for Will Wagner, a Barrow County child diagnosed with brain cancer, on "Will to Win Night." Details for purchasing tickets and donating to the Wagner family can be found online at willwagnerswilltowin.com.
The series continues on Sunday at 2:05 PM for "Family Day," featuring Pre-Game Catch on the Field from 1:00 to 1:15 PM and the Post-Game Kids Base Run (kids 12 and under) after the game. Sunday is also "Bark in the Park," as you can bring your pooch to the ballpark to hang out with other four-legged friends on the Lawn. Stop by the Gildan tent on the Coolray Field Main Concourse as well on Sunday to receive a free pair of underwear, courtesy of Gildan!
Monday night is "Kids Eat Free Night," where all kids ages 12 and under will receive a voucher for a free hot dog, bag of chips and small soda. The series concludes on Tuesday night with a "Team Tuesday." Celebrate our Fifth Anniversary Season with our Poster Series Giveaway for the first 500 fans through the gates. Poster No. 3 features infielder Tyler Pastornicky, who will be available for a pre-game autograph session from 5:05 to 5:20 PM. Also on "Team Tuesday," all kids ages 12 and under wearing their Youth Athletics jerseys will receive a free ticket with the purchase of an Adult ticket (limit one ticket per adult).
After an off-day on Wednesday, the G-Braves are back in action on "$3 Thursday," a 6:05 PM game against Toledo. Enjoy $3 food and beverage specials all game long. Lawn Seats are also just $3 on Thursday. Friday's 7:05 PM game is "Dudes vs. Foods" night at Coolray Field. Our annual Knucksie Eating Contest will take over the main concourse, while additional food challenges for the stadium concessions connoisseur will take place during the game.
On Saturday Night at 7:05 PM, the first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a Mini Bat sponsored by Charter Communications. The homestand comes to a close with another "Family Sunday" on May 26.
