The Jackals are looking for their first win of the season in Reading after dropping to 0-2-1 after the loss here on January 19. The Jackals have scored first in two of their three trips to Reading and have out-scored the Royals 5-4 in the first period in this building. It was as high as fourth a 10 days ago, but a 1-for-27 stretch over the last seven games has reduced the ranking. The Jackals broke an 0-for-23 stretch when Justin DaCosta notched his first goal of the season on the power play last Saturday. Kyle Bushee leads the team in PPG with 4. They were 3-2-1 over the six games they went without a power play goal. Overall they are 5-11-3 when held without a power play marker.
