Crunch announce details of 'Syracuse Crunch Special Santas' for Hillside Family of Agencies

Syracuse, NY- The Syracuse Crunch announced today the details of the 'Syracuse Crunch Special Santas for Hillside Family of Agencies presented by Unilever.'

At the Crunch's home game on November 23 vs. Binghamton, fans are encouraged to donate items from Hillside Family of Agencies gift wish list (found below) to support Hillside Special Santas. The Hillside Special Santas program will benefit local youth and families served by Hillside Family of Agencies in Central New York. Items will be collected in the War Memorial Arena at the merchandise stands, in the entrance lobbies and at Roberts Office Furniture Concepts Guest Services before, during and after the game.

In addition the Syracuse Crunch will partner Crunch players with Hillside youth and staff members to go on a shopping spree for items on the gift wish list on Nov. 20 at TJ Maxx. Items purchased on the Nov. 20 will be included in the items collected at the Nov. 23 game against Binghamton.

Items on Hillside Family of Agencies gift wish list include: hooded/logo sweatshirts, sports balls, jewelry, sport watches, duffle bags, drawstring bags, sports bags and purses, cologne, body sprays and body kits for teenage girls and guys, lotion, make-up and hair supplies and MP3 players under $25. All gifts should be new and unwrapped.

In addition to the items collected from Crunch fans on November 23, Unilever will support Hillside Special Santas by making a product donation of gift wish list items.

Celebrating its 175th anniversary in 2012, Hillside Family of Agencies is one of the oldest family and youth non-profit human services organizations in the U.S. The youth and family services organization provides child welfare, mental health, youth development, juvenile justice, special education, and developmental disabilities services across central and western New York and in Prince George's County, MD. Last year, Hillside Family of Agencies provided services to 12,636 youth and families in need.
