AHL Games to be Aired on Sirius/XM; Includes First Two OKC Barons Games

Oklahoma City - - The first two Oklahoma City Barons games of the 2012-13 season will be broadcast in the United States and Canada on Sirius/XM, the American Hockey League office announced today.

October 12 is the first day of play for the Barons. Faceoff is 6 p.m. (ct) at the Quicken Loans arena in Cleveland. The teams waste no time returning to action as faceoff for the game October 13 is noon (ct).

Additional games will be announced at a later date.

SiriusXM NHL Network Radio can be found on Sirius 207 and XM 92, providing more than 20 million subscribers in Canada and the United States with groundbreaking 24/7 hockey talk. This marks the eighth consecutive season that AHL action will air on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio, including the annual AHL All-Star Game, the Calder Cup Finals and other regular-season and playoff games.

The Barons home opener is October 19 against the San Antonio Rampage at the Cox Convention Center at 7 p.m. A variety of ticket packages are available to meet every individual or group need.
