Attack Draft Gabor

Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that with the 24th pick in the 2012 CHL Import Draft they have selected Gilbert Gabor (Gah-bore).
Gabor, a native of Slovakia spent the 2011/2012 season with AIK Under 18 Elite team in Sweden where he notched 19 goals and 10 assists for a total of 29 points in 21 games. The 17 year old also plied his trade with the J18 Allsvenskan squad where he tallied 3 goals, 8 assists for 11 points in 15 games.
The 1995 born, 6'3, 185lb, winger is described by Attack General Manager, Dale DeGray as a "big, physical forward who skates well for his size." Added DeGray, "we are thrilled to welcome Gilbert into the Attack organization and look for him to be a big part of our future moving forward."
With the selection of Gabor, the Attack is expected to pass on their 2nd Round Selection as the acquisition of Gabor fills the two import spots allowed by the CHL. Attack forward and New Jersey Devils prospect Artur Gavrus will fill the other spot.
