----- Today, the SeaWolves look for their seventh straight road win as they take on the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) in the second game of a four-game series at Canal Park. Last night, the 'Wolves took down the Aeros 8-5 in the series opener. Last night's win keeps the 'Wolves at 1.5 games behind Harrisburg in the Western Division and closed the gap with Akron to nine games...Erie is 2-2 at Canal Park this season...The 'Wolves have now won two straight and five of the last six games over the Aeros. Lefty Kelvin De La Cruz makes his 16th appearance, 14th start and his second start against Akron. He took a loss in his only other start against Akron on May 8. De La Cruz took a loss in his last start against Binghamton on June 22. In the game, he allowed six runs on six hits with five walks and two strikeouts in four innings of work. Erie lost the game 12-2...Right-hander Steven Wright takes the mound for Akron making his 14th start and second against the SeaWolves. Wright's one appearance against Erie was a no-decision at Jerry Uht Park on May 28. Wright earned a win in his last start against Altoona on June 22. In the game, he allowed three runs, two earned, on four hits with three walks and seven strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work.
