Lynchburg,VA- The tarp came on the field at 5pm and never left. Minutes before first pitch on Monday the rain came in buckets and the game was called immediately. The game between the Lynchburg Hillcats and Carolina Mudcats has been postponed until tomorrow as part of a doubleheader.
Game one of the doubleheader set is slated for a 6:05pm start time. The stadium gates will open at 6:00pm. Lefty Dimasther Delgado (4-2, 4.14) will look for win number six on the season. Will Roberts (3-2, 5.15) will try to keep a hot 'Cats offense in check. The likely game two starters will be J.R. Graham (7-1, 2.58) and Michael Goodnight (2-6, 4.55). If you can't make it to the field, tune in and listen live to all the action on 105.5 FM KD Country and online at lynchburg-hillcats.com starting with the Hillcats On-Deck Show coming on the air at 5:50pm with Erik Wilson and Mike Viso.
