Jamieson, Granier, & Frankoff Named to All-Star Team

June 4, 2012 - Midwest League (MWL) Burlington Bees

Burlington, IA (June 4, 2012) - Three members of the Burlington Bees have been named to the 2012 Midwest League All-Star Game, it was announced today. Sean Jamieson was named the starting shortstop for the Western Division, while pitchers Drew Granier and Seth Frankoff were named reserves.

Jamieson is hitting .251 on the season with 3 HR and 16 RBI. His 33 walks rank him 2nd in the MWL. Jamieson also leads the Bees with 33 runs scored.

Starting pitcher Drew Granier leads the team in wins (7), innings pitched (64.1) and strikeouts (61). His seven wins is also ranked first in the MWL.

Pitcher Seth Frankoff has started and come out of the bullpen for the Bees this season. He currently stands at 1-3 with a 3.72 ERA and 36 strikeouts in 36.1 innings pitched.
