Cougars, LumberKings Postponed

Kane County Cougars News Release


CLINTON, Iowa - Thursday's contest from Ashford University Field between the Kane County Cougars and Clinton LumberKings has been postponed because of rain. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Scheduled starters for the Cougars are right-hander Robinson Yambati (1-1) and right-hander Aaron Brooks (3-6) against left-hander Jordan Shipers (2-0) and right-hander Brett Shankin (0-2). It has yet to be confirmed if those pitching matchups will remain intact.

The Cougars are on the road Friday night when they take on the LumberKings from Ashford University Field at 5:00 p.m. in the first of a doubleheader.
