FORT WAYNE, IN - Rainy conditions in Northeastern Indiana have forced the postponement of Thursday's scheduled Midwest League contest between the Great Lakes Loons (28-25) and Fort Wayne TinCaps (24-29). The two teams will play a doubleheader beginning at 5:35pm ET on Friday with both games lasting seven innings in regulation, per Minor League Baseball doubleheader rules.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN 100.9-FM and ESPN1009.com beginning at 5:05pm with the Loons On Deck Circle, powered by Dow Corning pregame show.

Loons right-hander Gustavo Gomez (4-4, 4.29 ERA) is scheduled to start against Fort Wayne righty Adys Portillo (3-2, 1.48), the reigning league pitcher of the week, in Game 1. Lefty Matt Laney (2-2, 3.89) is scheduled to work in relief for the Loons.

In Game 2, right-hander Arismendy Ozoria (3-1, 4.53) will start for the Loons against Fort Wayne righty Colin Rea (0-3, 3.28).

The Great Lakes Loons are a sixth-year Single-A partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers and are in the middle of their 5th Anniversary Celebration, which kicked off in August 2011 and will continue throughout the 2012 season. For more information about the Loons, visit Loons.com or call 989-837-BALL.
