TinCaps Announce Roster Moves

Fort Wayne TinCaps News Release


The Fort Wayne TinCaps, in conjunction with the San Diego Padres, announced the following roster moves today:

OF Mike Gallic placed on the disabled list. Gallic, 23, was hitting .299 with two home runs and nine RBI in 24 games with the TinCaps.

RHP Dennis O'Grady transferred from Lake Elsinore to Fort Wayne. O'Grady, 23, was 3-1 with a 3.38 ERA in 19 relief appearances with the Advanced Class-A affiliate of the Padres in the California League. In 26 2/3 innings of work, he had struck out 31 and walked 13. O'Grady, a native of Floral Park, NY, was selected in the 34th round of the 2011 draft out of Duke University. Last season he made 10 starts for Fort Wayne, going 4-2 with a 4.53 ERA. O'Grady will wear #7.

The Fort Wayne roster currently stands at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.
