Bowling Green, KY - The Hot Rods return home from Lansing, Michigan to begin the second quarter of the season on Saturday, starting a seven-game homestand with a four-game series against the South Bend Silver Hawks (Future D-Backs). Nat's Outdoor Sports Bicycle Safety Awareness Day - for FREE, kids can participate in a pre-game bike ride around the warning track on the field
Sunday, May 13 - 2:05 PM:
Celebrate Mother's Day with the entire family at Bowling Green Ballpark
After the game, kids can to run the bases for FREE at Bowling Green Ballpark as a part of the Smucker's Uncrustables Fun Run
Monday, May 14 - 6:35 PM:
Nine Innings of Networking - for just $16, receive a ticket to the game and a package which includes networking and access to an All-You-can-Eat buffet in the Home Run Grill
Tuesday, May 15 - 6:35 PM:
IGA All-You-Can-Eat Tuesday - All-You-Can-Eat Ballpark Buffet in the Home Run Grill with $8 upgrade to any purchased ticket
South Bend Silver Hawks Team Notes:
This is the second time in 2012 the Hot Rods host the Silver Hawks at Bowling Green Ballpark
The Hot Rods took two of three from the Silver Hawks in the season-opening series in Bowling Green, and lost two of three last week in South Bend
This matchup features two teams with car-themed names: the Silver Hawks are named for the Studebaker Silver Hawk that was manufactured in South Bend in the mid-20th century
Eighth-year manager Mark Haley's starting rotation is highlighted by Archie Bradley, the seventh overall pick in the 2011 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft
