Captains Announce Huge Opening Night Prize Giveaway

(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, have a special treat in store for fans attending Opening Night at Classic Park on Thursday, April 12. The Captains and their corporate partners will reward one lucky fan each inning with a terrific prize to kick off the 10th Anniversary celebration of Captains baseball in Northeast Ohio.

The following prizes will be given away when soft baseballs are tossed from the roof of Classic Park into the stands. One lucky ball per inning will be specially-marked and the fan who winds up with that ball will receive that inning's prize.

Prizes include:

An All Expenses Paid Trip for Four to the Baseball Hall of Fame that will include four admissions to the Museum, two night hotel accommodations and a $200 gas card courtesy of the Captains.

A Luxury Suite Rental at Progressive Field for 16 people and three parking passes courtesy of the Cleveland Indians.

Six tickets to the Simulcast of the Induction Ceremonies at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on April 14.

A One Year Supply of Bread courtesy of Orlando Bread.

A Farmpark Membership, courtesy of Lake Metroparks.

A special Coca-Cola Bicycle.

A Weber Charcoal Grill Package courtesy of B&B Appliance that will include a grill, barbeque accessories and wood chips for the grill.

A Free Heating and Air Conditioning Maintenance Agreement for 2012 that includes one furnace and air conditioner clean and check and 10% off of any services for the year provided by Two Season Heating and Cooling.

A Pizza Night Package which is good for one free large pizza per week for the remainder of 2012, courtesy of Cleveland Pizza Company.

The Captains are also introducing its Tenth Anniversary HD TV Giveaway on Opening Night. The team has partnered with B&B Appliance and Sportstime Ohio to award lucky fans after each Captains home run hit at Classic Park that night and each game in June, July and August of the 2012 season.
