Traverse City Beach Bums News Release
TRAVERSE CITY, MI-Due to a forecast of continual rain in Northern Michigan throughout Friday evening, the Traverse City Beach Bums game against the River City Rascals has been postponed.
The two teams will play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 6:05 p.m. Right handed pitcher Nolan Shaffer will make his Beach Bums debut on the mound against Sean Toler (0-1, 7.88) for River City. Both games will be seven inning contests.
Saturday night is a Hagerty Insurance Classic Car Night, where up to 60 classic cars will be displayed at Wuerfel Park. For more information or tickets, call 943-0100 or visit www.tcbeachbums.com. WUERFEL PARK RAINOUT POLICY
In the event of a rainout, tickets can be exchanged at the box office window for the same price admission to any regular season game, played at Wuerfel Park, during this season, based on availability.
