
Freedom's Friday Night Game Washed Out; Doubleheader Saturday

Strong storms passed through Florence and rained out the series opener between the Freedom and Windy City ThunderBolts Friday night.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday with both games scheduled for seven innings each. The first game will start at 5:00 p.m. and newly acquired Anthony Bello will make his first start of the season for the Freedom versus Bryant Cotton in game one. Game two will follow and Preston Vancil pitches for Florence against Matt Jernstad.
Fans with tickets for Saturday's game will be able to get in for both games of the doubleheader. Tickets for the doubleheader can be purchased online at florencefreedom.com or by calling the box office at 859-594-HITS.
