RED-AND-WHITE READY FOR SCRIMMAGE VS. CANADA U-23 TEAM: The Red-and-White are coming of a 0-0 draw against D.C. United on Friday, February 25, and now look to their next preseason match, taking place today at 12:00 noon against the Canada Under-23 National Team. The match is open to the public and will take place on the Track and Field Stadium at The Home Depot Center in Carson. CHIVAS USA ADDS SCRIMMAGE AGAINST UCLA TO PRESEASON SCHEDULE: With less than three weeks left before Opening Day, Chivas USA has added another scrimmage to its preseason schedule, facing a college opponent for the first time. The Red-and-White will take on local powerhouse UCLA on Saturday, March 5 at the Track and Field Stadium at The Home Depot Center. The team's full preseason schedule is below:

MICHAEL LAHOUD TO MISS THREE WEEKS WITH KNEE INJURY: Chivas USA midfielder Michael Lahoud suffered a deep laceration on his left knee in a collision with goalkeeper Dan Kennedy which occurred during training on Sunday. A surgical procedure was required to clean and repair the wound, and the third-year player for the Red-and-White is expected to return to training in three weeks.
PORTLAND TIMBERS WIN RIGHT TO HOST U.S. OPEN CUP MATCH: Chivas USA lost a coin toss on Monday, and as a result will likely travel soon to face the expansion Portland Timbers in a U.S. Open Cup play-in match at some point in March. The Red-and-White face a tougher task in the cup competition this year, having to win three matches against MLS opponents to reach the main draw of the Open Cup.
RED-AND-WHITE UNDER-16 TEAM EARNS WIN OVER COSMOS WEST: The Chivas USA U-16 Team earned a 3-2 win over the Cosmos Academy West on Saturday under the lights at the Santa Ana Memorial Stadium, riding two goals from Frederico Bobadilla and one from Sergio Cervantes. Just before that game, the Chivas USA U-18's earned a 0-0 tie against the Cosmos.
