SHANE HARPER BOBBLEHEAD NIGHT - Wednesday, December 15th vs Vancouver

Here's your first chance to get a bobblehead likeness of Shane Harper!

The all-time Silvertips leader in career goals will be commemorated in bobblehead form next Wednesday. More details will be uploaded to EverettSilvertips.com early next week.

Three Game Homestand Begins Wednesday, December 15th

The Silvertips finish up the first half of the WHL schedule by hosting three Western Conference rivals, beginning on Wednesday, December 15th against the Vancouver Giants. Always a hard-working team under Head Coach Don Hay, the Giants, led by forwards Craig Cunningham and Brendan Gallagher, remain a difficult team to play against. Come check out Everett's north-of-the-border rivals in a great atmosphere at Comcast Arena. 'Tips-Giants games always provide inspired, energetic hockey with a lot at stake. The 'Tips host the Spokane Chiefs for the first time in 2010-11 on Friday, December 17th. Led by Head Coach Don Nachbaur, the Chiefs are a gritty, hardworking team that has done a good job at spreading their scoring around this year, with eleven players already reaching double digits in points. Forward Tyler Johnson won a gold medal with USA Hockey at last year's World Junior Championships and is averaging well over a point per game for the Chiefs.

To wrap up the first-half schedule, the Silvertips host the Tri-City Americans on Saturday, December 18th. A fast, exciting offensive club under Head Coach Jim Hiller, the Americans will be looking for revenge after Everett posted 5-2 and 4-2 wins in the club's last two outings. There will be a ton of speed on the ice when these two teams match up against each other in what should be another hotly contested rivalry game at Comcast Arena.

Tuesday: Join Chad Suer and Parker Stanfield at Sporty's!

The Silvertips Radio Show returns on Tuesday evenings at Sporty's Beef and Brew - your home for Sound Transit Everett Silvertips Hockey!

The show kicks off at 6 pm on Tuesday, December 14 with a pair of 20 year olds - defensemen Chad Suer and forward Parker Stanfield. Host Jon Rosen will lead an interactive discussion, taking questions from fans in attendance and phone calls from fans listening in live on Fox Sports 1380 and worldwide via www.krko.com. This coming Tuesday we'll discuss the upcoming home game against the Vancouver Giants (12/15), Spokane Chiefs (12/17) and Tri-City Americans (12/18) while recapping the Eastern Division roadtrip. We also encourage fans to send in questions on Facebook (Everett Silvertips Hockey Club) and Twitter (@WHLsilvertips). If you're in the area, stop by, pick up some grub and hang out for pictures, autographs, and to talk some puck with Chad and Parker!

As always, the Silvertips Radio Show coincides with Sporty's Taco Tuesday with the 'Tips, where tacos will be on sale for just a buck! Feed the family on the cheap with some delicious food in a family atmosphere this coming Tuesday at Sporty's Beef and Brew!

Christmas House Toy Drive Through Saturday, December 18th - Win Prizes!

The Everett Silvertips announced last month that for all home games through the Saturday, December 18 contest against the Tri-City Americans, representatives of Christmas House will be tending to the main doors to Comcast Arena, collecting new toys / stuffed animal and monetary donations. For every toy / stuffed animal donation, or for cash donations of $5 or more, fans will receive a ticket for a prize drawing of a variety of autographed paraphernalia and in-game experiences listed below.

Remaining games in which Christmas House representatives will be collecting donated items include December 15 (Vancouver), December 17 (Spokane) and December 18 (Tri-City). The prize drawings will be held during the second intermission on Saturday, December 18. More information can be found at both the Christmas House table and the BECU Guest Services Table on the concourse.

Christmas House is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that has served the Snohomish County community since 1981. Their goal is to provide children from low income families with new toys, gifts and clothing during the holidays. Last year, the all-volunteer staff helped over 3,300 Snohomish County families, including 9,500 infants, youths and teens receive clothing, blankets, toys and personal items during the holiday season. BECU Super Saver Saturdays

The Silvertips and BECU are teaming up to offer fans a great discount - for the first Saturday home game of every month, a select number of tickets in section 215 will be on sale for just $5.

Tickets must be purchased in the Silvertips office (no ticketing fees) or the Comcast Arena Box Office ($1 ticketing fee per ticket applies). The Silvertips offices are open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Fridays as well as game days.

There is a limit of four tickets per person.

Extreme Ice Racing at Comcast Arena - Sunday, December 19th

The AMA sanctioned XiiR X-treme International Ice Racing Pro Tour racing series has outgrown its schedule! In only eight short years it has grown from a bright idea conjured up around a kitchen table into the only AMA sanctioned Ice Racing Speedway series in the nation. All machines are equipped with razor sharp steel studded tires and are capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour in under three seconds!
