Phillips Heads Back to Toledo

The Chicago Wolves have reassigned defenseman DAVE PHILLIPS to the ECHL's Toledo Walleye.

PHILLIPS was recalled by Chicago on Saturday and made his Wolves debut in the team's 4-2 loss to the Grand Rapids Griffins at Van Andel Arena that night. He has skated in four games with Toledo this season, notching one assist and a +3 plus/minus rating.

Last year, the 23-year-old blueliner made his North American hockey debut when he appeared in 52 games with Rockford IceHogs (AHL), notching six assists and 52 penalty minutes. He also skated in six ECHL outings with Toledo, tallying two points (G, A) and two penalty minutes.
