Jackals Announce Roster Moves

Elmira Jackals News Release


The Elmira Jackals have had forward Tim Spencer recalled by their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, have loaned defenseman R.J. Anderson to the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters, and have traded goaltender Shane Connelly to the South Carolina Stingrays in exchange for financial considerations, the team announced on Thursday.

Spencer has played in two games this season with the Jackals, recording an assist along with 23 penalty minutes.

Anderson notched his first assist of the season in Elmira's 4-1 win at Toledo on Wednesday and has played in six games this season with the Jackals.

Connelly spent the majority of 2009-2010 with the Stingrays, playing in 26 games with the club.

The Jackals also have activated forward Brett Gallant from the injured reserve.
