
Gwinnett's Nesbitt Is AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Gwinnett Gladiators right wing Derek Nesbitt is the AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month for October after leading the league with a plus-minus rating of +10.
Nesbitt was even or better in all seven games in October and on Oct. 22 against South Carolina was +5 and scored four points (3g-1a) in a 6-2 win. He leads the ECHL in plus-minus (+9), is tied for first in points (14), is tied for third in assists (8) and is tied for fourth with six goals.
The 28 year old, who was named ECHL Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 24, has 236 points (84g-152a) in 208 regular season games and 35 points (15g-20a) in 43 Kelly Cup Playoffs games with Gwinnett, Idaho and Toledo. He also has appeared in 123 American Hockey League games with Rockford, San Antonio and Manitoba scoring 59 points (27g-32a).
In recognition of his accomplishment, AMI Graphics will present Derek Nesbitt with a personalized Plus Performer of the Month Banner during an on-ice ceremony at an upcoming Gladiators' home game.
