
River Cats Continue Final Playoff Push at Raley Field Hosting Las Vegas

WEST SACRAMENTO, Cal. - The First Place River Cats will continue their Playoff push at Raley Field beginning today as they host the Las Vegas 51s (Triple-A Affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays) in a four-game series, August 30-September 2.
As the team wraps up their final homestand of the 2010 regular season, these last four games also include several recurring promotions for the 2010 season. Fans have the opportunity to end the summer with some fun, affordable entertainment while cheering on the River Cats!
Monday, August 30, at 7:05 p.m. Enjoy the final Monday night game of the River Cats 2010 season. Also, as it is every Monday at Raley Field, Seniors Eat Free with their free Silver Cats Club membership presented by Del Webb.
Tuesday, August 31, at 7:05 p.m. The River Cats will be celebrating the Bicentennial of the Independence of Mexico and the Centennial of the Mexican Revolution with Rondalla and Mariachi Music and Folkloric dance in commemoration of 200 years of shared history between Mexico and California. Also, during pregame fans can watch some exciting routines by nine local cheer and dance squads from the Placer County area as they perform on field. In addition, the recurring promotion Tuesdays Kids Eat Free will be available for kids 12 and under.
Wednesday, September 1, at 11:35 a.m. It's the final Businessperson's Special of the season! Two ticket value packages are available: The Top Dog Package for $15 which includes a Delta Box Ticket, Jr. Hot Dog, 12 oz. Soda and Bag of Peanuts and The Tecate Triple Play Package for $39 which includes a Capitol Club Ticket, Nachos Grande and a Tecate beer (must be age 21 and over).
Thursday, September 2, at 7:05 p.m. The River Cats will conclude the regular season with Fan Appreciation Night. Players will greet fans upon entry into Raley Field and prizes will be given out randomly to fans all night long. Thursday also marks the recurring promotion of Thirsty Thursdays at Raley Field featuring $2 Miller and Miller Lite beers.
Also, as part of the final homestand the On Deck Shop, official team store of the Sacramento River Cats, will hold a season ending Fan Appreciation Sale. Great values for hats, apparel and novelties will be available during normal store hours (including River Cats games) from Monday, August 30 through Friday, September 3.
