Bowling Green Hot Rods News Release
Bowling Green, KY - The Bowling Green Hot Rods, Class A Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, opened voting on Tuesday for the 2010 Fans Choice Tee presented by First Choice Home Medical. The return of the popular promotion features four brand-new designs with the winner being given away on June 19.
"With our partner First Choice Home Medical, this is one of the most fan interactive promotions we'll do in 2010," said Hot Rods GM and CEO Brad Taylor. "We have four brand-new, sharp-looking designs and we're excited to see what fans will choose to wear this year."
Fans can cast their votes by visiting www.bghotrods.com today through June 7. Once voting is complete, the winning design will be featured on tees given to the first 1,000 fans ages 13 & up before the Hot Rods play the West Michigan Whitecaps (Detroit Tigers) on Saturday, June 19.
The four new designs were developed by Fruit of the Loom. During its first run in 2009, the First Choice Home Medical Fans Choice Tee generated more than 1,500 votes on the team's website.
The Hot Rods begin a 13-game home stand on Tuesday, May 25, against the South Bend Silver Hawks (Arizona Diamondbacks). The first game of the home stand is one of six games that will benefit Warren County Parks and Recreation. Any fan that purchases a regularly-priced $10 box seat ticket for that night's game using the promotional code "WCPARKS" (use all caps) will help recover Warren County parks damaged by recent flooding. For the complete list of dates and a full listing of upcoming promotions, visit www.bghotrods.com.
