Lake County Captains News Release
(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, will host a Football Draft & Basketball Playoff Watch Party at Classic Park on Thursday during the Captains game against the Great Lakes Loons. Game time is 6:30 PM.
Fans can purchase special $7 tickets for the game if they mention "Bernie" at the box office, in honor of the former Cleveland quarterback and will be able to watch the events on brand new high definition televisions located in the Officer's Club or at Corona Castaway's Bar at Classic Park.
The Captains will offer great "tailgate" specials that include half price draft beer and fountain sodas as part of the club's Thirsty Thursdays promotion. Fans will want to arrive early for the nickel beer promotion that takes place for one hour starting at 5:30 until the first pitch of the game at Corona Castaway's Bar. Tailgater shooter drink specials will be available and fans can purchase wristbands for a $10 pizza and wing buffet at both Castaway's and the Officer's Club.
Fans will have the chance to guess which player the "Brown and Orange" will pick with their first round selection. Everyone who picks correctly will receive an invitation for themselves and a guest to a Football Kickoff Party that the Captains will host in late August during a game at Classic Park.
One lucky winner from the pool of correct entries will also receive an invitation for themselves and a guest to a VIP party scheduled for June 6 as part of Josh Cribbs' appearance at Classic Park during the Captains game on that date.
TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Fans may visit CaptainsBaseball.com for information on alternate routes to and from Classic Park during the current construction that is taking place on Route 91. The Captains are working with the City of Eastlake and ODOT to ensure the smoothest possible traffic flow for fans attending games at Classic Park until the construction is completed.
The Lake County Captains are a Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians and play their home games at Classic Park in Eastlake, at the corner of State Route 91 and Vine Street. For more information on the Captains, please visit the team's official website at www.CaptainsBaseball.com.
