Galivan Reassigned From AHL Chicago

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that forward Patrick Galivan has been reassigned to the team from their American Hockey League affiliate Chicago Wolves. Galivan was recalled to the Wolves for the third time this season on Saturday, March 13th and appeared in three more games, registering an assist and a +1 plus/minus rating.

In 19 games with the Wolves this season, the 23-year-old Oak Park, Illinois native has notched two goals and four assists for six points and a +2 plus/minus rating. With the Gladiators, Galivan has 37 points on 19 goals and 17 assists in 39 outings and trails only Tom Zanoski for the team lead in the goals scored column.

Prior to making his pro debut with the Gladiators this season, Galivan skated four collegiate seasons at Western Michigan University, where he posted 95 points (35G, 60A) in 122 total games. He also registered 80 points (37G, 43A) in two junior seasons with the Texarkana Bandits of the NAHL from 2003-2005.

Galivan remains under contract with the Wolves.

The Gladiators continue their 7th season in the ECHL on Wednesday, March 24th vs. Reading at 7:05 p.m. The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and Columbus Blue Jackets and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
