
Toros Make Several Roster Changes

Austin, TX- February 25- The Austin Toros announced today that they have traded forward Justin Bowen for 6-7, 230 pound forward Michael Joiner from the Sioux Falls Skyforce. They also acquired 6-3, 190 pound guard Dominique Coleman who most recently played five games with the Maine Red Claws. The Toros roster stands at 10.
Joiner, 28, played college ball at Florida State, and then continued his career internationally for several seasons before joining the Skyforce for the 2007-08 season and 34 games of the 2008-09 season where he averaged 8.5 points and 4.9 rebounds.
Coleman, 25, spent most of the season playing in Belgium with Dexia Mons-Hainaut and then with Angelico Biella during the month of December in Italy. During the 2008-2009 season Coleman averaged 15.4 points and 7.8 rebounds for the NBA D-League champion Colorado 14ers.
Center Roderick Riley was released from the team due to an injury.
Joiner and Coleman will make their first appearance with the Toros on Saturday night when they take on the Bakersfield Jam at 7:30 p.m. at the Austin Convention Center.
