
Fans Can Participate In Trivia Contest For Opportunity To Meet Yao

MCALLEN, TEXAS - The NBA Development League Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today that fans who attend or watch the next four Vipers games at State Farm Arena can test their knowledge of the NBA Houston Rockets and participate in a trivia contest for the opportunity to meet Rockets center Yao Ming (7-6, 310, China) during his visit to the Vipers' game against the Austin Toros on March 10.
To win, fans must answer a trivia question about the Rockets either at the game or while watching the game online at NBA Futurecast accessible for free at www.rgvipers.com. During each game, one fan who answers the trivia question correctly will be selected to meet Yao. No purchase is necessary and full contest rules are available online at www.rgvipers.com.
Tickets for the games on February 26 and 28 as well as March 9 can be purchased through the Vipers at the Pro-Shop at Uptown Plaza on N. 10th St. in McAllen, over the phone (972-1144), or online through Ticketmaster via rgvipers.com.
Tickets for the game on March 1 can be purchased through the Vipers at the Pro-Shop at Uptown Plaza on N. 10th St. in McAllen, over the phone (972-1144). Vipers season ticket holders can purchase two tickets for the price of one.
This will be Yao's first visit to the Rio Grande Valley.
