T-Birds Announce Monday Minor Hockey Trivia

Kent, January 27, 2009 - The Seattle Thunderbirds are excited to announce a new promotion aimed at young T-Bird fans and minor hockey players.
Starting Monday, February 2, the T-Birds will feature a trivia question on their website aimed at kids in Pierce, King and Snohomish counties. The trivia question will be taken from something that happened in a T-Birds game over the previous weekend. To find the trivia answer kids will have to scour the T-Birds website. Once they find the answer they will send it to the T-Birds via a form on the T-Birds website by midnight on Thursday each week. Only one entry per week will be allowed.
From all the correct answers submitted, one minor hockey player will be chosen randomly and will win a CCM Vector one-piece Alexander Ovechkin youth model hockey stick. "The Thunderbirds are excited to be adding this chance for young fans to follow the team and enter to win a one-piece CCM hockey stick," said T-Birds General Manager Russ Farwell.
Each Monday through the end of the season a new trivia question will be posted on the T-Birds website at www.seattlethunderbirds.com
The Monday Minor Hockey Trivia promotion is only open to T-Birds fans 12-years-old and under in Pierce, King and Snohomish counties. Winners of the Monday Minor Hockey Trivia question will be required to pick up the CCM one-piece stick at the T-Birds office at ShoWare Center.
The T-Birds face the Medicine Hat Tigers at ShoWare Center at 7:05 p.m. on January 27. They are in Kamloops to take on the Blazers on Wednesday, January 28, at 7 p.m.
