Kamloops Blazers News Release
Cody Almond posted the hat-trick as the Rockets shutout the Blazers 5-0 on Saturday night at ISC.
The Rockets led 1-0 after one and 2-0 after two then scored 3 in the third to put the game away. Jamie Benn and Lucas Bloodoff also scored for the visitors. Final shots were 43-16 Rockets with Kris Lazaruk picking up his first shutout as a Rocket while Jon Groenheyde was valiant in defeat.
The Blazers were 0-for-6 on the PP and 4-for-5 on the PK.
