August 7, 2007 - The Cedar Rapids Kernels, in conjunction with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, announce today that C Hank Conger has been placed on the disabled list with a left hamstring strain.
The injury was suffered in the 8th inning of the Kernels 5-3 win over Clinton. Conger drilled a ball down the third base line, but pulled up rounding first base.
