
Five-in-Four Next Week at FirstEnergy Park

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - After a brief 3-game road trip, the Lakewood BlueClaws are back at FirstEnergy Park for a five-game in four-day homestand with the Greensboro Grasshoppers (Marlins) beginning Tuesday night. Included is a split double-header on Thursday.
Before heading to Lake County this weekend, the BlueClaws split four games at home against the Lexington Legends, and are 12-12. They sit in fourth place in the South Atlantic League Northern Division, 7.0 games behind West Virginia.
Tuesday and Wednesday's games are both at 6:35. Tuesday night, one lucky fan will win a $2,000 college scholarship courtesy of Discovery Collegiate Advisors.
Wednesday night features a Health and Wellness Event, courtesy of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Thursday, May 10th promises to be a special day, as fans can get a double-dose of BlueClaws. The first game begins at 11:05 a.m. and the first 2,000 fans will receive Oversized Baseball Cards thanks to the Asbury Park Press and Harrogate. The second game begins at 6:35 p.m. and one lucky fan will win a Round-Trip Flight Lottery thanks to Dentworld. There will also be a special appearance by Rally the Mascot.
The two games, each nine innings, will have separate admissions.
Friday night marks the first of four fireworks nights in May. Following the 7:05 p.m. game, there will be a fireworks show courtesy of Toyota/Scion World of Lakewood. There will also be a Memorial Day Weekend Fireworks Trifecta, following games on May 25th, 26th, and 27th.
After heading to Lake County and Delmarva the following week for an eight-game road trip, the BlueClaws will host a 13-game in 14-day homestand beginning May 21st.

Having led the South Atlantic League in attendance each year of operation, this year they will add their 3-millionth fan, becoming the fastest team in league and New Jersey history to do so.
