
Fisher Cats holding two August events for young professionals

Manchester, NH- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Class Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, continue to appeal to audiences of all kinds by holding two August events geared towards young professionals. The first event is a Beer and Wine Tasting at Merchantsauto.com Stadium, home of the Fisher Cats, on Friday, August 18. The second event has the Fisher Cats teaming with the Manchester Young Professionals Network (MYPN) to present Burgers, Beer, A Band & Baseball at the Fisher Cats game on Wednesday, August 30 against the Connecticut Defenders.
The beer and wine tasting will take place on Friday, August 18 as the Fisher Cats take on the Binghamton Mets. The event will begin at 5:00 PM and the first pitch of the game is scheduled for 6:35 PM. You must at least 21 years old to participate. Fans may purchase tickets to the Fisher Cats game in advance and ask for complimentary admission to the beer and wine tasting that will take place prior to the game. There will be a great wine selection to complement ballpark food and summer weather and microbrews including Red Hook Ales and Smuttynose Beers.
On Wednesday, August 30 beginning at 5:00 PM the Fisher Cats and MYPN present "Burgers, Beer, A Band & Baseball". Live music from The Hot Tamales will kick off the event from 5:00-6:30 PM with the Fisher Cats game against the Defenders scheduled for 6:35 PM. Admission for the event is $15 and includes the live entertainment from The Hot Tamales, a ticket to the Fisher Cats game, a buffet of ballpark food, great networking opportunities and a chance to win some great prizes. There will also be a special "after-party" with an encore performance from The Hot Tamales. Fisher Cats players will also be attending the "after-party" and will hold some fun contests with the crowd.

The Fisher Cats are in Portland, ME tonight to continue a three game series against the Portland Sea Dogs, Class Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, at 7:00 PM.
