ICEDOGS JERSEY AUCTION

The IceDogs are currently auctioning off their 2004-05 Game Worn Warm Up Jersey's. All proceeds benefiting the Mississauga IceDogs Community Fund. Fans can bid on the jerseys by emailing jelia@mississaugaicedogs.com or calling the IceDogs office at 905-502-7788. The online portion of the auction will close Friday, January 13th at 5:00pm. All closing bids from Friday will then be transferred to the silent auction that will take place during the IceDogs home game on Sunday, January 15th. The auction will be held at section 26 and will close at the start of the third period.

ICEDOGS DEAL WITH BARRIE

Mississauga, ON - The Mississauga IceDogs announced yesterday that they have traded defenseman David Pszenyczny along with forwards Jordan Grant and Jeremy Whelan to the Barrie Colts in exchange for defenseman Brett Oliphant, forward Nathan Martine plus future considerations.

Nathan Martine ('88) spent 2004-05 with the Barrie Colts where he played 48 games recording 3 goals, 12 assists for 15 points and collected 46 penalty minutes. This season Nathan has played 41 games for the Colts recording 2 goals, 13 assists for 15 points collecting 40 penalty minutes. Martine was Barrie's 1st round choice, 15th overall in 2004.

Brett Oliphant ('88) played five games with the Barrie Colts in 2004-05. This season Brett has played 36 games for the Colts recording 3 assists and 45 penalty minutes. Oliphant was Barrie's 2nd round choice, 35th overall in 2004.

The Mississauga IceDogs coaching staff and management wish to extend their thanks to David, Jordan and Jeremy for their time here as an IceDog, and wish them all the best in Barrie.
