Ottawa Hosting Coaching Clinic

On Saturday, January 28th, the Ottawa 67's will present the TELUS Coaching Clinic with special guest speaker, Hall of Fame Coach, Scotty Bowman.
Mr. Bowman will be addressing an audience of local amateur coaches at the Civic Centre arena on January 28th and will be joined by Ottawa 67's Head Coach and member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, Brian Kilrea.
"I can't imagine a more unique opportunity for area coaches" said Ottawa 67's Owner and Governor Jeff Hunt. "To be in the same room with arguably the two greatest coaches of all time and have a chance to pick their brains and hear their stories."
The session will take place in the morning on the 28th beginning with sign in at 8:30 a.m. From 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. the clinic will deal with coaching techniques and the coaching of children, this will be followed by a question and answer session. Coaches are welcome to stay at the Civic Centre arena from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. to watch the Ottawa 67's practice.
The TELUS Coaching Clinic is free of charge to all coaches, not just hockey coaches, but individuals must register on the Ottawa 67's website (www.ottawa67s.com) in order to attend.
