Johnson City Doughboys Announce 2026 Season Schedule

November 12, 2025 - JOHNSON CITY, TN - The Johnson City Doughboys today announced their 2026 baseball schedule. The Doughboys will be home for Opening Day on June 8th and play against the Elizabethton River Riders. The 2026 Appalachian League season begins June 4th and runs through July 30th. The schedule will consist of one Monday, three Tuesdays, three Wednesdays, five Thursdays, and four Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Johnson City earns a walk-off win in sudden death over Danville

July 27, 2025 - DANVILLE, Va.- The Johnson City Doughboys battled back to pick up a gritty win in sudden death over the Danville Otterbots on Sunday. Both teams came out swinging in the opening inning. Johnson City scored two runs within its first three batters. Caleb Gipson led off with a double before Braxton Baird brought him right in with a single as the very next batter.
