Guardians Fall to 1-1 After Losing to Rival Defenders

February 15, 2020 - WASHINGTON D.C. - After holding the Tampa Bay Vipers to just three points in week one, the New York Guardians received similar treatment during their visit to Audi Field. The Guardians were held scoreless in their week two match-up vs. the D.C. Defenders as they fell to 1-1 after losing 27-0. The Defenders improve to 2-0 and now sit atop the Eastern Conference. February 12, 2020 - The New York Guardians won their season opener at home against the Tampa Bay Vipers, 23-3. Seventeen of those points came in the first half.
