June 25, 2026 - The Hill City Howlers lost their seventh straight game in a walk-infested 13-1 defeat to the Hickory Crawdads. Hill City (31-41) walked 14 batters in the game, a season high for the club that came into the game second in the Carolina League in free passes, giving up 445 prior to Thursday's contest. Warbirds Stifle Howlers Comeback to Split Series

June 14, 2026 - A Nick Monile home run in the eighth halted the Hill City Howlers comeback as the Wilson Warbirds hung on to win 11-6 on Sunday afternoon. The Warbirds, despite being held to six hits, found ways to capitalize on walks and Howlers mistakes to put 11 runs on the board. With the win, Wilson earned a split of the series. Walk off Win Helps Howlers Sweep Doubleheader

June 13, 2026 - The Hill City Howlers stole the doubleheader over the Wilson Warbirds on Saturday afternoon, winning both late in the game. Game one fell 4-3 after the Howlers retook the lead in the eighth inning. Game two was a 1-0 pitcher's duel capped off by an Anthony Martinez walk-off home run in the seventh. The pitching staffs were dominant for both games, with the Howlers outlasting the Warbirds. Weather Suspends Friday Game; Doubleheader Saturday

June 12, 2026 - Friday's game between the Hill City Howlers and the Wilson Warbirds has been suspended due to inclement weather. In the middle of the first inning of a scoreless game, the skies opened, and the tarp was placed on the field. The game will be restarted as a doubleheader on Saturday, June 13, with game one continuing as a full nine inning game at 3:30 p.m. The regularly scheduled game two will be played in seven innings beginning approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
