Second Wilson Walkoff Splits Series with Howlers

April 19, 2026 - Hill City was defeated for the second time this series via the walkoff, losing to the Warbirds in Wilson 5-3 after a walkoff blast. Despite the loss, Robert Arias was a bright spot once again. He picked up another multi-hit game, his fourth of the series. On top of that, Chase Mobley posted his best start yet, hurling 3.2 no-hit innings with four strikeouts. Pitching Carries Howlers Past Warbirds

April 18, 2026 - The Hill City Howlers steered the ship right Saturday night with a 3-1 win in Wilson over the Warbirds, their ninth win of the season. The game saw another gaudy strikeout total for the Howlers, as the staff notched 14 of them in the victory. Starter Harrison Bodendorf picked up six in four shutout frames, and long reliever Miguel Flores added seven more in three no-hit innings. Wilson Walkoff Stuns Howlers

April 17, 2026 - A three-run comeback was not enough Friday night as the Hill City Howlers were walked off by the Wilson Warbirds in a 7-6 loss. Four Hill City homers were not enough in this one, a game decided off the bat of Wilson's Luis Lameda. The Howlers smashed two of them in the seventh and eighth innings but ultimately came up short. Howlers Offense Erupts; Win Big at Wilson

April 17, 2026 - The Hill City Howlers walloped the Wilson Warbirds Thursday night 14-1 in Wilson. Everything was clicking, from the lineup to the pitching staff. Hill City bats collected 17 hits, with Dauri Fernandez leading the pack after accumulating four hits, two of them doubles. Fernandez was one of six different Howlers to record multiple knocks in the game.
