HIDALGO, TEXAS - The NBA D-League Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today that the ZOOperstars and Duo Design will perform during halftime of their games against the Colorado 14ers on Friday and Saturday nights respectively at Dodge Arena.

Fans in the Rio Grande Valley are no strangers to the ZOOperstars, who performed at a Harlingen WhiteWings baseball game on June 27th. D- League fans may remember the ZOOperstars from a visit to the Sioux Falls Skyforce or from watching a Charlotte Bobcats game. The ZOOperstars have also been featured on NBC's America's Got Talent.

Led my such character as Yao Flamingo, Dennis Frogman, Dick Flytale, LeBronco James, Mackerel Jordan, Shaquille O'Seal and Stallion Iverson, the ZOOperstars offer hilarious entertainment that adults and children alike can enjoy and laugh at hysterically.

Fans can get a special discounted price to the game by purchasing $10 tickets through the Garza Elementary School PTA. The first 2,000 fans through the doors will receive a Vipers swirler, courtesy of Lone Star National Bank.

Duo Design is coming off of a halftime performance during Thursday's Orlando Magic game against the Boston Celtics at Arnway Arena, part of which was shown live to a national audience on TNT. They also performed during halftime of the 2008 NBA Finals at the Staples Center.

Duo Design is a hand balancing performance that is "guaranteed to set you roaring," according to The Los Angeles Times.

"[The] entire routine is a jaw-dropper," according to the Dallas Morning News.

The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive hats.

Both games start at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:00.
