WARRIORS SIGN JERMAREO DAVIDSON FOR REMAINDER OF SEASON
The Golden State Warriors have signed forward Jermareo Davidson for the remainder of the season. Davidson, who signed his first 10-day with the Warriors on January 5 and a second 10-day on January 15, has appeared in two games with Golden State. Davidson began the season with the NBA Development League's Idaho Stampede, where he averaged 16.1 points and 10.8 rebounds in 15 games. At the time of his call-up, the 6'10'' forward ranked first in the D-League in double-doubles (10) and third in rebounding (10.8).
SUNDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Sunday's games
Othyus Jeffers notched a double-double with a game high 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Energy. Iowa had five players in double figures including Marvin Phillips with 18, Patrick Sanders 17, Curtis Stinson 16, and Cartier Martin 13.
Maureece Rice was the Bayhawks top scorer with 18 points. Erik Daniels (16 points, 13 rebounds), Ivan Harris (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Jackie Manuel (14 points, 12 rebounds) all notched double-doubles for Erie.
James White posted 30 points and chipped in six assists for the Anaheim Arsenal. Cedric Bozeman and Chet Mason chipped in with 18 and 16, respectively, in the 103-91 victory over the D-Fenders.
Dwayne Mitchell led the D-Fenders with 22 points and seven assists, while Gabriel Hughes recorded his third double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 boards. Brandon Heath added 20 points.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
29 players with D-League experience competed in nine NBA games last night, four as starters.
As a starter for Houston, Rafer Alston notched a double-double, scoring 14 points and dished 10 points assists. Teammate Von Wafer also scored in double digits with 10 points.
Steve Novak, of the Los Angeles Clippers, finished with 13 points and eight rebounds.
Chris Anderson tallied with 10 points and grabbed five rebounds in 22 minutes of play for Denver.
Starting for the Warriors, Kelenna Azubuike finished one rebound shy of a double-double with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Azubuike also dished six assists. Teammate CJ Watson chipped in nine points
