Zokan Tosses Boulders past Quebec

Jake Zokan picked up his third victory of the season in the Boulders' 10-4 win over the Quebec Capitales (28-45) on Friday night. The left-hander pitched six innings, giving up three runs while recording seven strikeouts. Rockland (35-38) remains in the fourth and final playoff spot in the league.

Ryne Birk finished the night 2-3 with an RBI triple and two walks. The Boulders 2B leads the Can-Am League in triples with seven. Teammates Blake Grant-Parks and Adam Ehrlich each notched two RBIs.

Rockland and Quebec return to action tomorrow night at 6:30 at Palisades Credit Union Park. Join the Boulders in the fight against breast cancer as the team celebrates Pink in the Park.
