GAMEDAY – The New Orleans Zephyrs (36-43) will host the Albuquerque Isotopes (41-38) in the fourth and final game of the eight game homestand. The Zephyrs are in fourth place 9.5 games back of the first place Oklahoma Redhawks.

WALK IT OFF – For the second time in two weeks and for only the fourth time in the history of Zephyr Field, The New Orleans Zephyrs walked off the field a winner following a walk off home run. Mike Coolbaugh joined the crew of Ryan Thompson, Raul Chavez, and JR Phillips as the only Z's to hit walk off home runs.

OFF DAY – The Zephyrs will have their 4th off day of the season tomorrow. It will be the first day off in 20 games.

ON THE ROAD GAME – The Zephyrs begin a three game trip to the Music City on Thursday to play the defending Eastern Division Nashville Sounds.

FOURTH OF JULY – The Zephyrs will return home to host the first place Oklahoma Redhawks on Sunday July 4th. The Redhawks have the leagues best offense and have been in first place since mid April. Following the game will be the largest fireworks show of the year at Zephyr Field.

HUFFMAN NAMED PCL ALL-STAR!- The PCL has named Royce Huffman to the AAA All-Star Team on Saturday. The game will be played July 14th in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Huffman is amongst the league leaders in average, hits and doubles

GUN EM DOWN- Catcher Chris Tremie has thrown out 50% (8x16) of base stealers this season.

THE LONGBALL – New Orleans has hit 87 homers this season. The Z's hit a total of 88 last year.

TIGHT PLAY – The Zephyrs have played 79games this season, the team has played 30 one run games (16-14).

HOMERING AT HOME –New Orleans has hit 38 home runs at home this season in 37 games. Last year the club had hit just 27 homers in 72 home games. The new dimensions have been responsible for 21 homers, 11 for the Z's and 10 for the opponent.

IRON MAN- Royce Huffman is the only player that has played in all of the games. No Z player has started every game.

STREAKING BURKE – Zephyr 2b Chris Burke has reached base in 33 consecutive games., the longest streak in the PCL and AAA Baseball.

BURKE TO THE FUTURES GAME – 2b Chris Burke will play in this years Major League Baseball Futures game in Houston on July 11th. The other Astros that will be represented will be Round Rock outfielder Willy Taveras and Round Rock Manager Jackie Moore will be a coach for Team USA.

ALL-STAR MALONEY – Z's Manager Chris Maloney has been named to be a coach for the PCL All-Star at this years AAA Game in Pawtucket. Salt Lake Manager Mike Brumley will manage the PCL and Iowa hitting coach Pat Listach will also be a coach.

BRUNTLETT RETURNS – SS Eric Bruntlett has been assigned to the Zephyrs he will rejoin the team today after his stint in Houston. He was 2x10 with a HR with the Astros.

ROSTER NOTES- The Zephyrs have 24 players on the active roster. Alex Eckelman has been placed on the DL with a sprained wrist.

BUCHHOLZ IS BRILLIANT- Taylor Buchholz allowed just one hit last night in his first eight innings and continues to improve. He is 2-1 with 3.34 ERA in the month of June. The best numbers of all of the Zephyr pitchers for the month.
